Dr. Kevin McVary: A Guiding Force in Urological Health
We are honored to introduce Dr. Kevin McVary, a leading authority in urology and men’s health with an illustrious career marked by a relentless pursuit of innovation. His comprehensive approach to men’s health, focusing on proactive involvement and preventive measures, aligns with our ethos of empathy and accessibility.
An Authoritative Voice on BPH Management In the urological community, Dr. McVary is a leading authority, particularly in BPH management. His distinguished role as one of the three pivotal authors of the American Urology Association (AUA) guidelines for BPH management accentuates the wealth of expertise and influence he brings to our board. These guidelines, seen as the beacon of best practices in the field, have far-reaching impacts on how BPH is understood and managed globally. As the secretary of the Society of Benign Prostate Disease, his insights have helped to shape policy and practice on a grand scale. He additionally holds several positions with the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK), including co-chair of the NIH/NIDDK Strategic Planning Committee for Prostate Research/Men’s Health.
Legacy of Excellence Presently steering the Center for Male Health as a Director and serving as a Professor of Urology at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine, Dr. McVary’s career is a testament to his commitment to excellence and innovation. His ongoing role as a principal investigator in over 120 clinical trials and his prolific contributions to medical literature underline his position as a vanguard in urological research and practice. He was an honorary speaker for the European Association of Urology (EAU) and Sexual Medicine Society of North America (SMSNA), and is the chairman of the International Committee for Urologic Diseases (ICUD).

Dr. Alex Glaser: A Trailblazer in Personalized Urological Care
We are equally thrilled to welcome Dr. Alex Glaser, an acclaimed surgeon-scientist, known for his pursuit to enhance patient outcomes through personalization of care and the implementation of cutting-edge techniques. Dr. Glaser’s approach pivots on integrating the newest techniques with an unyielding commitment to patient-centric care. His journey from a research fellow at the National Institutes of Health to becoming a fervent advocate of patient-centric approaches in BPH and endourology is a source of inspiration.
An Enthusiastic Advocate for Monitoring Dr. Glaser serves as the Director of Urology Research at the NorthShore University HealthSystem and as the Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, where he focuses on BPH and endourology.
Dr. Glaser is a member of the Lower Urinary Tract Dysfunction Research Network (LURN) - a research group created by the NIH to improve the measurement of data and patient experiences of those impacted by LUTS. He is excited to contribute to Emano Flow's initiatives across data collection and symptom monitoring. His interest in enhancing existing symptom scores through technological innovation makes him a vital asset to our team, exhibiting a shared vision of transforming the landscape of symptom monitoring and care in BPH/LUTS.
A Passionate Researcher Currently spearheading multiple clinical studies in BPH and endourology, Dr. Glaser’s patient-centric approach and his dedication to advancing the field through research align with Emano Flow’s ethos of empathy and expertise. Previously, he was a research fellow at the National Institutes of Health and finished a research fellowship with the John P. Hanson Foundation for Cancer and Cellular Research, situated within the Northwestern Interdepartmental Immunobiology Center.
